Almost every one of our 18 public libraries in the
Brevard County Libraries system has its own non-profit
Friends group. Through their fund-raising and publicity
efforts, these wonderful organizations promote and
support the libraries. Typically, they provide monies
to obtain items which could not otherwise be purchased.
The Friends raise money through their membership fees
as well as through various fund-raising projects.
They often support special programming at the libraries,
such as our annual Children’s Summer Programs.
Some of the groups have also provided funds to assist
with construction or renovation projects for the libraries
in their communities.
